As Illinois celebrates its 200th year we’ll look back at some of the historic places we visited during our travels in order to create a picture of this state’s rich past. Keep in mind some of the segments included in this series were shot many years ago. Since then exhibits have changed and even some locations have closed, but we have included them feeling their stories are relevant.
