Farm profit is down more than half since 2013. Soybean prices have declined more than half since 2012. About a third of American soybean production goes to China. China has imposed tariffs on soybeans and other agricultural products, creating an unclear future for farmers. The Illinois Farm Bureau reacts by explaining its opposition to tariffs and its support of multi-national trade agreements.
